ELR Classic diesels - whats included?

Post by tubemad »

Hello all,

Simple question really, what is contained on the ELR Classic diesels pack sold on the D8233 website? It doesn't really have a full list of numbers, some some hints by the looks of it on 3 screenshots.

One of the pics is 73129 in NSE livery, does this have its own ED diesel sound kit included, or is it the same (and rather poor) ED diesel soundset thats available on UKTS?

Any help appreciated :)

Cheers,

James.

Have a gander at this -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rhBPKJu-Mk

The ED, if I recall, does have authentic sounds - as does everything else thats included - with quite a few 'exclusive' bits and pieces in there.

Off the top of my head, the following soundsets are exclusive to the pack.

20
25
31
37/9 (Ruston)
56
73
101
105
Thumper

Everything else is aliased to ELR sounds or the best of freeware available at the time of publishing (mid 07).

Any other questions, don't hesistate to ask.

Dave ('masterminder' of the pack :o )

The more important question is

"If it was not for your "wellies" where would you be?"

and some might reply

"You'd be in the hospital or infirmary."

Wow :o

Quite a bit included, looks well worth the £11 total cost!

Will be purchasing this on payday on 1st feb!

Dave (or anyone else for that matter), is it possible if you, or someone, could provide a short sound and/or video demonstrating the ED sounds from the CD?

cheers,

James.

You can't go wrong purchasing any of these packs !
The sound packs and cabs alone are worth the cash.

Let me echo the above comments - the sounds in particular on the ELR packs are excellent, most relevant stock I have is aliased to their cabs and sounds. Try thrashing a hoover on DC6 to the sounds from this pack if you want confirmation...

What a superb list!

Does kind of focus the mind too when a single loco addon for RW is going for £10. Not starting simwars, just puts it in perspective being on the verge of shelling out for the RW Class 50, what you can pick up in another sim for the same (or half) the price.
