I've had a few requests and...What next?

Post by MikeTrams »

Hey all,

I'm just concidering a new locomotive project?

Just answer these questions...Basicly...What and why? And I want your top 3. I don't want people sending me Pm's saying I want this, Please do this, this can be said on this thread. I have already had requests and I have taken notes. :)

What range or type of request am I after? Well I just want to fill in major gaps, something popular... That isn't been done or already started by someone else. :) I would like people to support other peoples suggestions, if you agree with someone quote them or if someone has already suggested it, put it down again.

Please bare in mind that the Class 42 is still in the works? Any supporters to have it finished?

Cheers,
Mike

1) Class 323
2) Class 90
3) Class 321

I personally think these 3 are a must for Railworks :)

1) Class 90. Can do freight and passenger services. A very versatile class to have in a sim.

2) Class 323. WCML, Wales and Borders, and we need EMUs.

3) Class 180/185. 180 is great for Newcastle/York Modern and the GWML. 185 great for Newcastle/York modern, and possibly upcoming Genesis project from Darren for TPEs.

Isn't http://www.oovee.co.uk/en/indev/railworks doing the 90 now? Been awhile in development though, but would be happy to see it someday :).

I'd to see an EMU, any type :).

Class 91 set perhaps? How could we possibly have the York-Newcastle Modern route without the class 91?!

I would say a class 90 too, but like SuperTux says above, i think Oovee are doing one?

Excellent class 50 by the way Mike!

Cheers,
Terrone.

Class 26 or 27.
Conventional DMU - either Class 117 or Class 120.
"Thumper" DMU either 205, 207 or perhaps a Hastings set?

1) Class 87
2) 115 DMU (the blue and grey units almost bring a tear to this 37 year old's eye... hehe!)
3) Class 33

Well after a lot of consideration, and the fact that I think someone is doing the 52, I would love to see a 33.
I have a bit of info on them as well, having driven quite a few :)

Hi,
I'd doing a 52, but am happy for anyone else to do one too.
No one has the rights to any loco and choice is a wonderful thing.

On the lines of my earlier post on the Class 50 thread (thinking of 'historic' Paddington-Oxford potential):

1. Class 117
2. Class 52
3. Class 35

Hi All,
it would be great if we had more Narrow Guage locos (steam and diesel) I^m sure we would have more Narrow Guage routes from members if we have a veriety of locos and rolling stock,
Its thanks to Kevin of what we have now.
