I would really like to get the "Western Rail Corridor v4" route up & running but this asset file stops it dead in its 'SBHH' tracks?!
Assets\Allaboard\Trackplans\railnetwork\trackrules\scalerail_aa.bin (Loft Item)
... and this is also missing ...
Assets\Allaboard\Trackplans\scenery\vegetation\1-2000-rgtree27.bin (Scenery Item)
Can anyone help me get hold of them please?
MTIA,

Allaboard are the US payware route addons, available on Steam.

Pity the docs with the route didn't say they were required?
The route gets the order of the waste bin I am afraid as it just isn't worth paying for just two, very minor, files.

Rather harsh for what I believe is the most stunning piece of fictional route I have ever had the pleasure of downloading. I'm one that likes to ignore the "IOW is required" instruction unless I can clearly see that the track is the IOW type, but it isn't on this, it's default and the free uk building pack like most of the rest of the route (although I'm sure there are many extra details that require other assets :) ). For me, the detail is exceptional even at the bare minimum level of assets and it's a pity my PC can't run it smoothly. :( However, combined with the 45407 sound pack with high speed loops (I'd have a headache if the PC tried oneshots at this framerate), I had one of the most enjoyable hours on RW. Thank you ever so much, Steve, for sharing with us this work of art that I can't believe I only discovered this evening.

Kind regards
Chris

Sorry Chris but no matter how nice you think the route is (and from what I hear I am not alone) I cannot see a blade of grass or tree!!
Plain and simple I cannot get the route to load and, using every scenario, get an SBHH and that is with the "missing" trackrules file that is required - but was not mentioned as such in any of the docs for this route.
I have even removed the RailsimulationUS folder from the folder tree (which I found worked on the WCML/S route which wouldn't load) without success as well. The only conclusion I can come up with is that there are other files missing in my set-up that are required by this route; even RW_Tools cannot find them!
Or is it that I maybe just unlucky?

Looking closer to what you posted up there after your last post: the scalerail tracks are also available as a freeware version directly from it's creator: http://3dtrains.com/products/rs1/scalerail.shtml - however, they would not install into the allaboard folder and though still fail to load. But maybe it works when you create a copy of them in the given folder?

Running the route via LogMate I get a continual report that this Bluprint file cannot be found:
Assets/IHH/US Railroads/Blueprints.pak ... but it IS there?!
The only other thing in the Us Railroads folder is another called 'Particles'?
Clues anyone .. ..

.. later ... also get a blueprint error for Assets/newS/China - I have the newS folder but it doesn't include 'China' (but I do have this as a seperate folder in Assets?)

Sorry Trav, I got a bit overexcited with this route and overlooked that you were getting SBHH. Although I'm not sure why, I mean I don't have the IOW, any US payware route or scalerail products (apart from low res trees). The only stuff I've seen was an extensive use of default and RSC building pack assets, although I'm sure that there are a load of milk bottles hear and there. The only thing I can suggest, Trav, is downloading the file again, perhaps from RSTrainsim if you downloaded it here or vice versa, sometimes for whatever reason downloads don't quite download. The other thing I would suggest is creating a new free roam scenario, which is what I did as I don't have the stock to run them. Best of luck.

Regards
Chris

Cheers Chris - done all those things (and lots more!) and still can't even get to the map!
Moved on now unless the provider can come up with some answers?
