Re: Dorset Coast Route Problem
I must ask - from where did you obtain the Dorset Coast route files? None of the ones in the UKTS download library are rar files - they are all compressed in zip format....class377electrostar wrote:If you dont mind dave i would like to send you the info about the files in the terrex folder seperatly in a pm

Which program do you normally use to unpack compressed files?

Re: Dorset Coast Route Problem
So have you tried to unpack these rar files?
The Dorset Coast route normally unpacks by selecting C:\ (or whatever drive you have MSTS installed on) as the default location, then everything automatically unzips into the correct folders in your MSTS installation.

Re: Dorset Coast Route Problem
As the readme files says, you need to install UK finescale track for the route to work. You can get the latest version from here:

Re: Dorset Coast Route Problem
Well you certainly won't get it to work without it, as these files are essential. Install them first, then let's see if there's anything else wrong.

Re: Dorset Coast Route Problem
Are you using Vista or Windows 7?
If so, did you unblock the downloaded files before installing as windows blocks them by default. Also did you set permissions on the files before installing? Its been a while since i installed the Tours pack but it worked fine on my Vista and W7 setups after the above.

Am running XP Home
Have not had this trouble before?
Anything else I may have missed?
