MideastV1.2 Ready

Post by Timcourt1 »

I have the files for upload and they'll be up shortly, I would just like to thank Alan Salmon for the beta work really.

Don't expect great things from this addon, I threw it together very quickly and i'll be issuing Detail packs later along with nighttime lighting for London etc.. keep your eyes peeled for the detail packs which will be uploaded as and when they are completed, these will be models of the varios stations plus details added to those I cant get info for.

enjoy :)

You forgot to say you have to download the 2 files first before you can do the steps you said.

Is there anyway of telling if you have already upgraded to v1.1 as I can not remember. Will it do any harm if you have and then run 1.1 upgrade again.

Thanks

Running the 1.1 update again shouldn't cause a problem, as long as you do it before the 1.2 update!

Quick way to find if you have the 1.1 upgrade, open activity editor, go to peterborough and look to the right of the south junction where the line crosses the mainline from east to west, you will see a set of 2 tracks coming off the line and forming a loop, this was the upgrade to 1.1 (Fletton loop)

I'm a little busy with work and other things at the moment, but I will be updating/rewriting many of the Mideast UK activities for this new extension. When I wrote the timetables for the original activities I allowed enough time for the trains to continue to Kings Cross and back, so hopefully I should be able to keep the basic traffic pattern as it was on the CD. I suppose there should also be a shift for the Kings Cross-Welwyn local services.

I'll leave those for you then! :)

First job is a "northbound express" followed almost immediately with the southbound one extending to KX. I have the paths extended, just need a bit of traffic at the southern end and some suitably places static consists.

But I don't have much spare time in the next two weeks, which is why I uploaded a bare test activity this morning.
