Port Road route

This route as you probably know was built in the challenge not long ago,
IMO it is a super route, I consider that its incredible it was built as quickly as it was it is that good.

A brilliant route Keith.
Now, an extension to Stranraer would do no harm to it
With the work you have done to the main route in the time allowed a few hours would do the job

Just been driving the Mogul on PR2, absolutely fantastic route (and love the Mogul too) If you can do that in a week, WCML North is going to be amazing!

I have to add my congratiulations to Keith here. The V 2.0 is my alltime favorite route in trainsimming category at all. It's just amazing. The best example of successful usage of RW default assets. I was long time looking for some nice UK (especially Wales and Scotch) real-life route for Trainz 2009-2010 or RailWorks and now it's here - The Port Road. Wow! I understand how hard it is to build historic and forgotten routes. Few days ago I was reading materials about Beeching Axe again ... how sad period in railroading it was. Not only in UK. In my country hundreds of kilometers narrow gauge mainlines (yes ... we had lots of those here) were dismantled. Estonia is a very small country and we had such a very special narrow gauge railway traffic here ... both passanger and freight. I was often spending my time in grandfathers diesel locomotives cabin ... beeing 4-6 years old boy. Now driving the Class 37 with 4 green Mk 1 coaches on Port Road makes me feel absolutely the same way.
Keith ... only the best wishes and ... keep Your great work going. When You reach Stranraer one day ... I think Dr. Beeching will turn around his body in his grave. And don't forget to take timeout for Happy New Years events. Thank You for Your efforts.

Thanks Klaabu - doing the research for the route really got me interested in the railway history of the area where I grew up too.
Looking at old film footage from the 1960s you can see how much small rural communities must have lost when the Beeching axe fell.

It's nice to hear that others are getting something from the project. I hope the next release meets your expectations!!
