Yes I have seen that on another forum. IF its a real video then yes he is one lucky man...though thats probably a bit of an understatement! Rules for track workers are obviously more relaxed where ever that was from (germany?)

I have seen this posted and discussed on a number of forums (not all to do with railways) and the general conclusion is that it is a semi-clever fake.
1. It is supposed to be ICE trains in Germany where (in general) Health and Safety is taken more seriously than in some countries - so why was the guy on his own with no lookouts.
2. It is suggested that the presence of track workers would mean temporary speed limits so the trains would not be travelling at full line speed.
3. It seems strange that this "incredible escape" happens right in front of a camera.
4. The way he jumps seems not natural posture or action.
The trains certainly look like ICE trains to me (at least the first two).
I'm removing my moderator signature since these are my own views and I would be interested in hearing any reasoned explanations as to why it might be real or any other observations of why and how it is being faked. Just keep it civilised and reasonable please (not that it hasn't been so far I might add).
I think it does look a bit fake. The low quality makes it hard to see for certain, but then could be deliberate. It's the jump, but also some of the movement prior to that that seems a little unreal. It does seem a little odd too that he would not hear it coming. From experiance of seeing trains pass at high speed from a safe distance, the noise from the track vibrating can be hear with the train still some way off (still seconds, but seconds would make the difference between it being as incredibly tight as it was and giving a slight clearance).
There is also the luck factor, which seems a bit too much. There is the fact that he basically gets as close to being hit as possible without actually getting hit, not once but twice. A fraction of a second either way and it wouldn't be quite as dramatic, or he'd be splatted (sorry, I feel morbid tonight). The fact that there are two trains as well, which pass at just the right place to make this happen as it does. Again, one train a couple of seconds off and it's a different outcome. Finally, as mentioned there is the fact it's being filmed, and just from the right angle and location too. Ok, it's hard to be too cynical about look and conincidence, after all if it wasn't for a lot of luck and coincidences none of us would be here, but still it all seems a little convienient.
Overall I'd say 70% it's fake, 30% it's real.
The trains are definilty ICE, but this seems to be a normal line, due to the other train passing at the end, although I don't actually have experiance of the German system. I would guess speed is around 200kph (125mph) too from experiance of HSTs at that speed, and also TGVs/Eurostars at 300kph.
Although I would suggest the plane one looked more real than the train one.
Trian one is fake. The train's horn would have blown, the guy would have heard it. To begin with, I thought it was a member of the public, not a track worker. His first jump is un-realistic. Footage like that (if it weas real) would not be on YouTube.
