Do you think there should be a dedicated forum for Xtracks?

XTRACKS FORUM POLL

Post by JohnKendrick »

I believe there should be a dedicated forum for Xtracks like there is for Finescale. Maybe there's a good reason why there isn't one, but what do others think.

It would be somewhere to concentrate those Xtracks queries which seem to crop up quite often.

I think it is a good Idea.

We could do with a "STICKY" with important info in. Like in the RE forum.

No, not me. I'm not going to vote.
Such a forum would not change anything regarding me and how often I visit UKTrainSim forums. I will continue to be an infrequent visitor. Maybe I should vote 'no' since such a forum might trick people into believing I'm running it.

If you want to ask me something it's far better to mail me or post over at train-sim.com. If you post it here I will see it but it could be days before I do.

That proved interesting, well we've got it now - Thanks Matt.

Regarding those who didn't think it was needed, anyone with an Xtracks posting may have put it almost anywhere with the result that an expert who could of replied may miss it. Hopefully the dedicated spot will overcome that. It won't necessarily alter the quantity of postings, they'll just be easier to find.
