London Paddingon Platform Allocations

Following on for the London Euston platform alocation topic, does anyone know the allocations for paddington
I know that 6+7 are heathrow express, but apart from that i'm not sure on the others. Can anyone help please

1 and 2 are FGW only, as neither are electrified, as for the other platforms I'm not sure, but I don't think there are any real allocations.

It's pretty much the same as most stations, Express, Outer Suburban, Inner Suburban in that order. In the case of Paddington, it's from low to high, left to right when facing out of London. Beyond 6+7 for HEX, there are no dedicated platforms, but the first few platforms are always FGW HSTs (and the sleeper), the highest, under the cover, are always FGW Suburbans. Fits with the layout of the track, you don't want a suburban service having to cross from the left side of the station to the relief lines on the right side, or an express crossing from the right side to the main lines on the left. Not sure if the highest numbered platforms could take a HST anyway. Oviously HEX and HC can only use electrified platforms.

Some undercover platforms do take HSTs quite often, I for instance, once got on a Swansea train from one of those platforms.

I use Paddington alot coming from Slough

1 - 5 : FGW HST's
6 & 7: Heathrow Express
8 - 10: FGW Express & Bedwyn services
11 - 12: Locals, Occasionally a Chiltern Railways service to High Wycombe & Heathrow Connect services
13 - 14: Local & Greenford services
