Hi tadomoney and welcome to the Forum,

Are you running Internet Explorer 8, if so rename the download file from .zip to .rpw and then install using the RW Installer as normal. For some reason IE8 does not recognise .rpw files and renames them .zip.

As this is your first post I was wondering how much experience you have, do you got RWTools installed, you will need them to find what 'missing' files you need for this Route, as SDB is a big and requires a lot of additional downloads.

If it is your first downloaded Route, I suggest you try an easier one first, to start off with and get the feel of what you have to do.

If you are experienced, then please disregard the above.

If you have RS then its RSTools you'll need.

Are you using IE8?

If you are, rename the file from .zip to .rpk and use RS Package Manager to install.

The South Devon Banks file you downloaded from theUKTS library is a zip file, this the one you need to change.

Hi tadomoney,
I have just checked the download from train-sim. It is a zip file - sdbv10.zip - this contains two folders : Assets and Content; Contents contains a folder called Routes which contains a folder 58b20a67-3a8a-4a60-a980-1c1cb3db4aff and a file Route.xml. The zip file also contains an image file sdbv10.jpg.
The Rail Simulator folder within Program Files already contains Assets and Contents folders - the contents of the zip file Assets and Contents folders should be copied as appropriate.

Although v10 has been withdrawn from this site, v12 is available for RS :

Invalid File ID [21842]

You may also need to download sdbtrack.zip; this contains the track rules in an rpk file and is available from train-sim and this site :

Invalid File ID [20516]

Hope this helps,

Regards,
Ged
