Well looks like i will be getting the GWR Hall & Class 158 now, and also might get the GWR B Set coaches as well.

Might jump into Railworks now with the base game price reduced. It's not worth getting any of the extra downloadable content at the same time, you guys say?

I'd get the 08 shunter.

You get loads of wagons and many liveries...

Not to mention all made with love by me.

I reckon that means there is going to be a localized German version. But more important would be the question, will there be some new rolling stock, too? :)
I did not see the text until now. Very interesting observation of you! Maybe someone can answer that question ??

Can you please make the dutch versions of this shunter ? :D
They were imported during WW-II into the Netherlands and since then also used by our train company 'NS'

There is apparently one Class 08 at the Gloucestershire warwickshire railway (built by LMS) that got captured at dunkirk. The Germans used it for 4 years, then it got recaptured by the French and used by them for the next 40 years. Apparently it still has bullet holes in it. I must admit I didnt know Holland acquired some as well.

I understand SNCF have just acquired 2, presumably from DBS. Makes you wonder why nobody makes more of them really.

I know this has probably been covered before, but I'd just like to get a view - I have the IoW, 08 and 66 packs from the RS days. I assume there's no point in me buying them again, even at a discounted price, as all I'd get is better glass shaders etc.

But if I did, what's the licence position on me offering the 3 packs I bought to someone who still has RS but not the packs? Is it allowed, or against rs.com's licencing rules?

Anybody know why this is ?

In Germany they also have this conversation about why they cant buy stuff with discount:

i know this is not a "musical request programme" :) , but if there is a austrian loco planned, then it
would be great to see the "ÖBB RH 1044" electric loco in railworks. my all time favourite.

Just as an aside, I bought the boxed version of Railworks on Saturday from PCWorld for £19.99.

All I can help with is that I had some probs with scenarios when porting my RS stuff over to RW - the only one that was 100% was IoW, so I've kept and installed that one but bought the 158, 08 and 66 again via Steam. There's probably a way round the problems I had but I rather just take the 'smoother' option and re-buy... (BTW, my 08/IoW/66 was purchased from JT on disc, so this may have something to do with the probs I had, but not sure).

I installed IOW, Class 08 and Class 66 into RailWorks from Just Trains RailSim addon DVDs using the "Install Legacy Rail Simulator Addon" tool and the only problems I encountered were of my own making - I forgot to install the update for the Class 08 scenarios
