Alls good at the towers, though we were low on milk.

I think what you will find that it's just a lovely weekend sale of joy, one of many we can do easy with the power of steam.

Seems like a good chance to buy IOW route, which so many other routes use assets from.

From a route builders point of view, The Isle of Wight add-on is a valuable source of assets that can transform a route otherwise just based on default and freeware assets. If you can afford to buy this route then not only will you enjoy the add-on itself, but more route builders will be able to use these assets in the knowledge that most people will be able to enjoy the benefits.

Well I can't take advantage until RW arrives so I'm stuck.

And I can't see it anytime soon with the postal strike...

There is nothing to stop you taking advantage of this, You can purchase on steam and install them once you have RW.

There is, it won't let me buy the download unless I have RW installed (or at least registered) which is a pain because I've just set up an account and I can't use it.

Steams getting on my wick already...

Steam has been sent to try us! I have bought the Jubilee, 8F and Hall but, though steam has taken my money, it hasn't downloaded them and I have restarted it, asked it to check for updates, logged on again restarted the PC, allowed it to update automatically. It tells me the 3 locos in question have been purchased but no sign of them as yet. They are nowhere to be seen in my assets folder. Welcome to the steam community. Perhaps the sale hasn't started yet!

Sometimes you do have to wait a while until you can download your purchase, I remember waiting up to an hour for a download to be made available. Usually it's instant, but I believe the delay is caused by card authorisation (transfer of funds stage) / busy "Steam" periods. It's thankfully very rare, and if you're waiting more than an hour then I'd get on to Steam Support ASAP

I bought and downloaded both the Hall and the scenario pack about 12 O clock and the download was immediate and faultless.

Perhaps somone in the know could give a little more information about this:

*Offer excludes: Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where brand-new integral features and local content are under development.

I reckon that means there is going to be a localized German version. But more important would be the question, will there be some new rolling stock, too? :)
