London to Brighton

Post by fakenham1 »

It appears we will be getting London to Brighton for TSW, see link (although I can't find DTGs announcement?)

Great news, looking forward to it.

Nothing is being confirmed until 4:00pm UTC on Tuesday. Until then it is all speculation coming from a supposed leak.

If true (if), then Day 1 purchase for me. Though as an old dinosaur I would prefer to see the route with CIG/BIG's, VEP's, EPB's and maybe a Thumper or two... :)

Considering the images are hosted on the DTG media server I'd say it was genuine.

It's not really up for debate. No more details until tomorrow and please don't sit here speculating about non-confirmed leaks.

Impressed, quite a lot of content for the money. Really looking forward to L2B, decent length route and busy.

Basically confirmed, then. Not 100% taken with the era but sadly you just have to spend a few minutes browsing the DTG forums to see their seems to be a growing percentage of players who prefer modern stock. The West Cornwall thread is a good example. Nevertheless, the route will be a crowd pleaser and I look forward to the heritage DLC with the units I mentioned earlier, maybe even throw in the Brighton Belle (5BEL) or a 4COR unit for good measure (I can wish). :)
