Tutorials for beginners

Post by Easilyconfused »

There are a number of tutorials available on this site and others that will help beginners find their way around the basics.

http://www.uktrainsim.com/index2.php?fo ... r=beginner
http://www.uktrainsim.com/tutorials.php
http://msts.steam4me.net/tutorials
http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 37&t=79754

New members are encouraged to read these tutorials since they answer many basic questions (and some quite advanced stuff too).

Established members are encouraged to add to the list of tutorials by posting replies to this sticky. The sticky can then be updated (with acknowledgement of the source) and the replies dropped off to keep things tidy.

Kindest regards

Hi,
I got MTS this week and read the FAQ , beginners guides and watched the videos at:

http://www.uktrainsim.com/tutorials.php

but I can't seem to find the sequels to the video "Installing a Diesel Locomotive" which are promised in the summary "...you'll learn about using other downloaded cabs and sounds in a later tutorial."

can anyone assist please?

To put it simply, if you have common sound and cab files in the trains folder put the files into the correct file.
