Class 47 on NWM

Post by eckers »

hI,
I put a class 47 on the 66 duties but when i hit the 60 limit i take off the throttle, and about a couple of seconds after i have done that, the brakes automatically get put on, can anyone explain why this happens and how i could stop it?

Thanks Michael 8)

I had a simular problem on another route and think its the deadmans kicking in and its not sounding the alarm and just stopping the train, or it could be TPWS. I stopped those by the following: when at start of route put reverser forward then back, cancel AWS then hit the DRA on/off button, relese brakes off EMG and isolate TPWS (the yellow circle) then away you go, hopefully without power cutting off en route....it works with me anyway.
Hope this helps :D
