When I get BVE running on my new graphics card (when I install it) I might join up to this!

Most VR's fall out the window, but that is a pretty good site you have going there! I hope you can keep this up and hope more will join :)

Folks

Long time since update but I have been busy with Scouting Activties and Real World Career on the Railway, I have sat both the Train Manager and Train Driver assessment centres in the last 3 months passing both. Currently on hold awaiting a vacancy for Train Manager and awaiting a Job Interview date for Train Driver.

Anyways back on topic....

Have had this project on hold, have tonight ditched all previous development and started designing a new website. New Ideas will be used in place of the old, some old scripting will be used but not much.

We need a name....
What we now require is a name for the Virtual TOC, suggestions please to this post. We will not accept copied or altered wording of existing real world tocs.

The Core Routes that will be operated by the vTOC will be Anthony Bowden's X City and Network West Midlands. We will operatine to a real world rules & regs with a fully functional virtual CIS system which will be operational within the first year.

We will be limited to the number of units of traction we have available for service, we will be operating local, regional and intercity services. We will be running to a real world operation as new as possibly in a virtual world. There will be training procedures in place and you will need to learn the route before being passed out.

We are currently recruiting for three members of staff.

Marketing & Brand Identity Manager
To create a brand identity relevant to the vTOC
create marketing material
ticketing and fares

Operations Manager
Rules and procedures of the vTOC, the role of operations manager will also oversee that new digrams are entered into the system and old removed, they will also be responsible for timetabling arrangements of services with the management team.

Training Manager
MUST be a current or retired UK real world train driver with minimum of 3 years driving experience.
Must be willing to create training manuals and exam papers relevant to real world and BVE operations in regrds to route knowledge and traction training.

Closing date for Applications is 1700 hours on Friday 3rd April 2009.

All applications to be emailed matt@mattuk.net at this current time, we will be holding interviews to select the appropriate person to the relvant role.

Many Regards

Matt Taylor
Founder and Managing Director of your soon to come vTOC.
