Another popular Train Simulator with the notable highlight of being freeware! Also note the new OpenBVE version with many new features - well worth a look!

I've got a geforce 7600gs, but to be honest BVE doesn't run any better than with my old geforce 4. Really, BVE isn't that intensive on the graphics card, and any 3d card will do the job. BVE's graphics are very basic really, it doesn't use even half the capabilities of a mid range card. If someone was asking what card was best for BVE I'd say a fast one and one with reasonable memory, not one with lots of features since BVE doesn't use any of the fancy stuff. The only real thing that a good graphics card can do for BVE (but it needs to be done through the graphics card's settings, not BVE itself) is Anti-Aliasing and Ansiotropic Filtering which will improve the appearance of things like track and OHLE in the distance. Take a look here to see the difference http://bvescreenshots.fpic.co.uk/c952826.html particularly look at the track before the bridge and the OHLE on the right hand pair of tracks. A faster card will oviously allow higher levels of AA and AS with less frame rate loss. Overall though for BVE you'll get more bang for you buck with the processor and memory than the graphics card. The only thing less worthwhile is the soundcard (but not the speakers, BVE needs the best speakers possible).

Try that. I'd put a "," at the end of the link, which was confusing it.
Taking screenshots in BVE is easy, you just need to press the "print screen" key, usually around the same place as insert, home, page up etc. This put a screenshot in the clipboard, they open a graphics program like paint, paste (either Edit-Paste or Ctrl-V) and then save the file. If you are running BVE in a window, press Alt-Print Screen and it will only take a screenshot of BVE, not everything else.
