Harcroft to Scourenton missing sounds

Another popular Train Simulator with the notable highlight of being freeware! Also note the new OpenBVE version with many new features - well worth a look!

Harcroft to Scourenton missing sounds

Post by rtracey »

No i`m not letting you all know about another new train for bve4! I downloaded & installed the Harcroft to Scourenton root for bve 4 & when I load a route file, bve says that it can`t find the route sounds. The sounds that bve can`t find are 156pass.wav & 142pass.wav. I`ve checked the sound folder & I can`t find either wav file. This is the only fault I have with the route, so I think i`ve installed it correctly.

I`ve checked the site I downloaded it from & I can only find one download. Is there a another download that i`ve missed that contains the missing sound files?

I've just downloaded the ruote in question, and I am missing the 142pass.wav sound only I think. The funny thing is, there isn't even a sound folder for the Harcroft route. It must be a problem with the installer.

A whole new version of the route has been released today. Might want to delete the old version first though.

Hi.

Just downloaded the Harecroft route, but there seems to be a problem.

It says i need the class 142 and class 50.

I have done some searching,, but from what i can make out, they haven't even been built yet?!?!

Any ideas please?

Cheers,
Terrone. :D

The 142 and class 50 are being made as we speak. They're only up on the list of required stock to say that when they're complete, there will be a route for them to drive.

You don't have to delete the old Harcroft route. V2 installs in a different directory so you can have both versions installed. It's not a bad route, quite short though, but thats not a bad thing.
