Anyone recommend any good route for BVE, if possible UK based, I already have the Maybank route aswell as Birmingham X city south for version 4

By my reckoning, there are only about two dozen or so real-life UK routes for BVE 4. Ranked in order of "click-throughs" from bve-routes.com (which is the only measure of "popularity" we have), they include:

Birmingham Cross City
Edinburgh-Aberdeen
LU East London
Bay Park
Barrow-Carlisle (part)
Tyne Valley
Network West Midlands (Maybank)
Aln Valley
Jubilee Line
Brookfield
Cross London
LU Northern
Docklands
Plymouth route(s)

The fictional routes include
Clarendon
Network North West

Thanks for the help, I have now downloaded a few, I am currently grying to get Richwell but I think it's being updated

Richwell is being re-branded Network North West and (according to Rich) may be released as soon as next week. Just as a correction to Eezypeazy's list above, Network West Midlands is a fictional route. I think my current favourite British routes to drive are Network West Midlands, Birmingham Cross City and the Tyne Valley, however there are still loads of routes out there. Some of the many foreign routes are also great fun.

Anyone know of any BVE4 NYC subway routes at all?

Kings Cross to Cambridge would be perfect in both directions, I know there's a route in progress using the ECML but if it's ready or not, I don't know.

There are supposed to be at least three sections of ECML in progress. Darlington to York (nothing heard from author in about a year); York to Doncaster (has been a work in progress for five years); and Newcastle to Berwick (screenshots and progress reports appearing in my blog on my site - a declared release date of this summer. I've got most of the detail complete NCL to Killingworth, and gradients done as far as Morpeth).

Thanks for the suggestions again, and I now have good routes

A couple of other questions but
When it comes to making the timetables or activities, can only the route makers make these or can users make them and if so how easy are they to make?
And
With the Birmingham X city south can you make it so you start at New Street and not Redditch?

Especially with the 31 out!!!
The Cross being a top place for peds, and cambridge in the '80's!
