i couldn't find the tutorial, so i've recovered most of it from memory, (questions whether you still want to do it), Now, my memory is bad for my age (15), so don't hav ago if it messes up the route. BUT it means no auto-announcer, i found that out the hard way. Right, go to the BVE main route folder, normally, C:\Program Files\mackoy\BVE 4\Railway\Route\Northern (whatever else)
go to the BVE 4 folder of the one you want to do this to, and right click on the file, and click on 'Open with'.
choose notepad. for example, say i'm doing this to the file, 'BVE4 Edgware to Kennington via Chx', (in notepad) i'd go to edit, find and type 'burnt oak'. You want the second one. There are numbers and semi-colons after it, you need to delete these for every station, but only do it to the second 'find' of the name. save it and repeat for the other files if you wish.
It does stop the auto-announcer working, but hey, you can open the doors manually!
now i shall return to the hell that is coursework...
