Edinburgh to Aberdeen HST

Post by chriscooper »

Don Clarke has not only released bugfixes to all the Edinburgh to Aberdeen routes, but also a new run for the BVE 4 HST.

They can be found at http://www.gotopcs.net/ , click on the "BVE Routes" link at the side and "BVE 4 Routes" at the bottom.

Is there any differences with the route its self?

You don't get any floating signals anymore. I've only driven to Iverkeating so far and I haven't noticed anything new. You will, however, need the new route file to paly the HST route and a few others.

Had a quick look at it last night- im pleased about the new route files- all we need now is a Voyager route file, and one with rain ;)

Voyager route is easy to sort out. Make a copy of the HST route and then change the train to Voyager. You then have a voyager route. The rain one is more problematic (at least for me) as it involves going into the route file and going down it to the right amount of meters and adding codes. I tried (with success) to change a Maybank route from dry to wet and it took for ages. With a route as long as the Edin-Aber it will take ages.
