Being new to using BVE can anyone help with the missing files message that pops up whilst loading the Edinburgh - Aberdeen route. Although the route will still run by clicking the ignore button I assume some ellements of the route are not being displayed. This problem does not occur with Maybank nor the LT Tube routes that I have installed. Has anyone else experienced the same problem, or any advice as to how to solve the problem?

Hello and welcome tol the UKTrainsim community. Try re-downloading and re-installing all of the files. If the problem persists you may have a corrupted file. If that happens see if you can download the route from somewhere else.

Could you cut and paste the text from the error box, it may help us sort out the problem .

The number of errors exceeded the limit.

The main part of that is down to the fact that you need the BR Signals. You can get these from http://www.trainsimcentral.co.uk , go down the page to misc downloads, and you want British Mainline Signals & AWS for BVE4.x (BRSigs) and British Semaphores for BVE4.x (BRSema4Sigs).

I'm at the same stage as darrenbt and get the same errors. Can you also tell me the path to use to install th 66 for the cement train. I have installed the edinburgh route to my main BVE4 folder

hi there if you have the edinbourgh route you need the cement train senario you get that from the same site as the route to get the train please go to

http://www.trainsimcentral.co.uk

and download the class 66 from the site. To install the train unzip it to

c:\program files\mackoy\bve4\trains\class66

make sure you just put the train folder in there.

dont no if this is a problem but i tried running the edinbourgh route as is i noticed when i stopped at a station it did not tell me if i stopped correctly or over run nor did it buzz for me to depart maybe this could be down to some of the errors. i hope we can fix this route as its one of my favourites.

My only advice is uninstall the route and reinstall it. Thanks for your help with the 66 problem. I ended up editing the timetable route (a trick I remember from BVE2) and it turmed out the train folder it was looking for was a german folder. Should I be able to view the timetable on Edin-Aber as I juct get a white screen as if it was a BVE2 train. Thanks for your help
