Tyne Valley...

Post by eezypeazy »

... is the new name for my route, previously known as Blaydon to Heworth. This reflects my ambitions to extend it so that it starts from Carlisle. Today, it is extended to start from Wylam, George Stephenson's birthplace. Here's a screen shot of Wylam Station...

Routes for BVE 2 and BVE 4 can be downloaded.

Looks good! But the tree on the left seems rather strange...
If you were wondering, the avatar is me on Planet Stooopid...

It's part of the background.... I was experimenting with using something quite abstract to indicate the horizon.... see what you think when you drive it.... don't think it's quite there yet ..... I'll probably work on a better background for next month...

cheers

Great work,
having only travelled on this line twice in real life it seems pretty well to model.

Keep up the good work!

I've just noticed an object error in my route (a bridge halfway into the track!). For people who haven't yet downloaded the route, no worries, I've updated the objects download zip. For those of you who have the route, right click on the link below and use 'Save Target As...' to replace the offending bridge. Save it into the objects\tyne valley\bridges folder in your Railway folder (you should be prompted to allow the file to be replaced).
