Bakerloo Line for BVE4

Another popular Train Simulator with the notable highlight of being freeware! Also note the new OpenBVE version with many new features - well worth a look!

Bakerloo Line for BVE4

Post by supernova45849850l2sw »

Hi All
on Trainsimcentral it mentions a slightly updated Bakerloo line with a BVE 4 compatible route. Has anyone got this line working on BVE 4? whenever I start a mission there is a red light and the doors wont close so the train wont move.

It mentions it's been worked on but not completed (for download). I'm guessing that you are trying to run the old version. Can you upload a screenshot please?

If you were wondering, the avatar is me on Planet Stooopid...

Paul Jobber and myself have updated the Bakerloo line for BVE2 and BVE4, featuring new objects and smooth curves and a BVE4 compatible file which has working tripcocks, rail-gaps and very realistic signalling.
My mistake i thought they had already updated the file on there system. I will look forward to the updated route for BVE 4!!

I had this problem as well to get the activity going just right click on your mouse and select Jump to Station and select the Next one along the line and it should be OK

In true 166driver style , I close the doors* and drive through the first few red lights and then they suddenly turn green.

*In the options, you can specify to run in developer mode, this doesn't affect the simulation, but allows you to use F6 to open/close the doors. :D

Not to my knowledge

BTW: I was tubedude on that forum, until my account was hacked and made void (even to re-register the name!) so you'll now see me there as Coxster.

Just a couple of points on the screenshots.

Willesden Junction Depot needs updating, where are the DRS Class 87's

I'm sure that at Harrow & Wealdstone the signal doesn't have a feather. :-?

Those screenshots were taken before the accurate signalling and gradients were added - I'll have to see about getting some more recent ones posted! I think Paul set the era of the route a few years ago, so no pendelinos either - thank God :D

And just to clarify - neither the new BVE2 or BVE4 routes have been released yet.
