Northern Line Update

Post by Damo »

The Northern Line route and train have both been updated at http://www.trainsimcentral.co.uk

The route has new track (to Mordon) and a general update.
The train has been massively updated, with BVE4 things available such as wipers etc.

I would go on more, but I have to go now anyway.

Hi

Do you find it really quiet? I an't run it because most of the sounds are too quite to hear

High Resolution BVE4 Version uses the OS_ATS plugin by Oskari Saarekas
Where do I get that from?

Cheers.

I think the volume is about right. It does sound a lot more realistic now.

Is the panel supposed to be blank when you scroll down?

I noticed that - I don't think you are meant to scroll in this train 8)

It should be already included in the downlaod. So you don't have to do anything.

There's a strange error in the latest version of BVE4.1 where you can scroll off the actual panel. In the previous release you couldn't do this. (If you scroll right you can see the J Door is open :o

Hopefully we will get around this if Mackoy can fix it. Just don't scroll - you don't need to.

Well at least everything else seems to be working so far.

Regarding the 'plug-in', it is just saying it uses it to make the wipers work etc. It is included. It's just a credit I suppose.

I posted on Train-Sim.com about a glitch.

Doors suddenly open between Brent Cross and Golders Green. I don't know if this happens on the normal run too, but it happens all the time on the rain route.

I also get a warning in top left when approaching Finchley Central, and High Barnet. Something about "passed the station you should stop".

Perhaps a particular signal is noted in the route file and it counts it as a station? That message comes up when you go a certain distance passed a station you're are meant to stop at.

Indeed Mr Cox :) there are a few 'dummy' stations which control the approach release signals, and the newer version of BVE 4 comes up with an error that you have passed the station.

The doors releasing en route - mmm, never seen that. It maybe a slight glitch in the plug-in or you've pressed F6 . Can't seem to replicate this myself.

Did anyone keep the old version of the 1995 tube stock? :-?

I slightly regret overwriting it with the new version! :)

Can't really remember what the other one was like now, I thought it had a bit more oomph to it :D

Still, the tube isn't for me really, more a Maybank version 4 person

Driving a tube must make you feel like :drinking: :P
:P

They're worth every penny they get :)
