For those who do not wish to wait, I shall speak with some people about hosting the files on their site.
Joining them will be a Class 153 Sound set I did ages ago, and some other stuff i can dig up.

but I'm surprised that they have appeared as I understood Matts policy was to now...to only allow MSTS addons?
Nope, there's no such policy, I only took the prefix off the front of the files on the front page to save some space since 99.9% of files are for MSTS, if people want to upload BVE they are more than welcome to and if we get plenty of BVE stuff then the prefixes may come back to help differentiate (not that I have any dillusions of that happening!).
now that money changes hands, the credibilty of that is destroyed.
I would certainly recommend making sure that everyone involved is happy with it being uploaded here, as the sentiments here have shown, some people can't stand the fact that money is charged irrelevant to whether profit is made. I can only assume they don't want people downloading their files on a paid-for connection or being hosted on any form of paid-for or advertising sponsored host too. *shakes head in disbelief*

Always make sure everyone is happy before you upload, there's nothing I hate more than hate-mail, I get enough of that thanks.

Matt.

I am suprised that nobody has come to me personally about it.
Everyone in the bve world loves talking about things and not actually finding out the facts. I know i am the opposite of popular and wanted, but nobody seems to know why.

I shall be voicing some concerns at some point tomorrow, and shall gladly post the link here. Subsequently to save Matt trouble, I shall take the downloads off tomorrow afternoon and keep them until someone asks for them. As for the other files I mentioned, if you want them, I will give you a link, until, again, I get an offer of hosting.

  • Email sent to a BVE site that has been recommended.
  • My voice on BVE
  • Class 153 sound set saught out, still as good as it was, if you want it then PM me.
One question though, about it all kicking off, why was it just with MY addons, why not Tom's Picc line? Hmm, one of those excuses that nobody seems to have an excuse for. If I were Matt, i'd close the libarary for BVE addons.
