creating own timetables

Post by poodles »

is it possible to create your own timetables using routes already

downloaded? I have the Birmingham X-City South route, where all trains

run from Redditch into New Street, and i was wondering if i would be able

to make timtables that go from New Street to Redditch.

if so, how do you do it?

Unfortunately, its not possible to run a route in reverse, such as BNS - Redditch, because routes are only coded in one direction, and exactly reversing & mirroring everything would be extremely difficult. :o

At the minute, the simplest way of running a route in reverse is with RouteBuilder - the only drawback of this is that there are very few routes made with RB released at the moment, and the program takes a little getting used to

Have a look at the RB demo routes that the program makers have made - theyve been released with routefiles running in both directions http://routebuilder.bve-routes.com/

I've just been browsing that site. Looks interesting.

Thanks for the link.
