BVE 2.5 Corrupt

After reading the review of BVE by Bigvern I decided to take a closer view, however every time I download the English version I get file corrupted and it will not load.
I have downloaded and installed the Japanese version ok but it is a bit difficult trying to work out the screen captions in that strange language.
I have installed and run Bham X-city south which incidentally I think is brilliant, its just I can't understand those Japanese characters.
Has anybody else had problems with the English version or does everybody run the Japanese version?

I have no problems with the English version.
