Mine is the slowest computer. It has four valves, and runs Windows'56. It doesn't even have a monitor...you look down into it like a 'What the Butler Saw' machine while you turn the handle on the side...

I use to dream of computer with a handle on the side. There was 256 of us living in a shoe box in the middle of the road. Dad use to make a computer out of a fag packet and nail brush and a double six domino. Ive still go it, though i am thinking of upgrading to a Spectrum ZX 80 when BVE 3.0 comes out.
If you tell the kids nowadays they just won't believe you.

I've had a break for a month but Watford to Rugby is progressing again, although development is stuck back at the Watford - Tring section at the moment while I correct some innaccuracies originating from the original Watford to Milton Keynes route. It's proving to be worth the effort though.
Prior to Christmas and aside from the progress mentioned on my site, I'd done most of the work at Hanslope Junction with some pretty neat OHLE and 70mph points, and work at Roade Cutting was well on the way to being done, the retaining walls just need new textures and the wires need to go up.
After the Watford - Tring upgrades are complete it's the station buildings that need doing, new bridges need constructing, then signalling equipment and new scenery textures need adding (after which I'll maybe post some screenshots), and then there's the general tweaking and updating of old objects that are past their sell by date, route variations, etc.
So a lot is done, but there's still quite a lot to do!
Cheers,
Anthony.

I hope that's not a dig at the best machine of all time!mikey2001 wrote:Im probably the only guy on the forums writing this on an Amiga....
If it weren't for my trusty Miggy, most of my BVE stuff wouldn't have been possible.
My website, graphics, sound recording and 3d rendering for BVE were done mostly using either my A1200T or WinUAE on my PC.
Long live the best OS ever developed. Puts XP to absolute shame in terms of speed, reliability, stability, configurability and ease of use. Not to mention that most of the good programs for it are absolutely free.

"Never say die!"
It's still on the way, i've gathered alot more info such as track diagrams and videos over the past few months, and have decided to keep plodding away at the route.
I'm past the worst, more complex areas for track laying and scenery in the London area ect, so i just need to keep doing a bit each day, even if it's only an hour.
The area around Stonebridge park blew my mind for a while, but now i've stopped and thought about it carefully, i've realised that can simplify it alot more.
