BVE getting going

Hi guys,

Its been a while since ive used BVE, I'm trying to run it on a Linx1010 tablet running windows 10, ive downloaded and tried install most of the BVEs 2-5 and open. can get much running, as far as opening windows.

Ive also got hmmsim on my J5 and used that well, now id like to add some BVE routes to it.

Please and help is appreciated and anything to jog my memory is appreciated!

openBVE is preferred over BVE2 or BVE4 or BVE5 or HmmSim.
openBVE has a much larger choice of compatible trains + routes & the program is current + actively being developed.

Here's links to the openBVE wiki, that has instructions for installation, & a large listing of trains + routes + forums.

Thanks for todays (Jan 26 2017) openBVE update, allowing "train sway while loading" to be enabled\disabled via an options menu checkbox.
Previously, trains sitting at a station swaying like leaves in a 50mph+ cross breeze, seemed less than realistic.

I aim to please ;)

Eventually, this is intended to become a per-train option along with a little more code based upon the rail gauge & suspension characteristics of the individual train, but that's not coming just yet.
(Michelle's current code adds ~1 degree of roll every time a passenger boards. Probably OK-ish for narrow-gauge stuff, but not for mainline)

Yep, ~1degree left and right sway standing still loading at stations is probably too much.
Thinking default sway should be 1/3 or less of Michelle's old value and inversely proportioned to rail gauge.
Better yet, a new variable "CarLoadPercent" 0~100% for the current car *.animated file, to use with:
~ swaying cars when the variable changes as the train developer\user likes
~ animated passengers and goods(coal\gravel\containers\etc) moving on and off wagons & steam tenders
