BVE Scene No 5: Barrow - Sellafield republished

November's edition of BVE Scene has been published. As usual, it contains the latest updates from BVE Pages.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to re-publish Derek Kaye's Barrow - Carlisle pt 2 route, which runs up the Cumbrian coast from Barrow as far as Sellafield. This route was last updated in December 2005.

I'm also pleased to announce that Tom Beevers' objects are finding a new home within our Object Library. First to be re-issued are the Newbury houses and Cantley flats.

New objects this month are a very fine three-arched brick overbridge (which can also be used as a viaduct) and a milk churn.

The second issue of The Art of Object Building concludes guillyman's article on using the cylinder command by explaining how to successfully apply textures to them.

And there's also first news of a brand new route that's in production.

I'm getting "This ID doesn't exist" on this link? Same from your web site?

Also when I view your web site and "Scene 3" (where the link does work) the text is overlaying in several places.

Any suggestions or fixes?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Geoff.

The link appears to have become broken some time after 1800hrs GMT Thursday. I have repaired the link this morning (0916 GMT).

From BVE Pages, I can get to BVE Scene No 5 no problem, and can navigate to No 3 from there (drop down box at the foot of the page) and they view OK in both Firefox and IE 8. Which browser are you using?

IE8 but in a 1440x900 display.

BTW could only view part 3 of the vids on UKTS? Still excellent stuff and I'll check out the others after work.
