I've stayed at both and can recommend either.

Both are about ten minutes walk away...and are both a few minutes walk from the Exhibition railway station.
Sandyford or The Merchant always My choice I have never had any problems with any of the Macmillan Group Hotels
Stayed in No 36 Once But then they did not do Full Scottish < I picked "The Merchant" this time because Its central for Her Indoors to shop ( she has never been to Glasgow before )while I spend Afternoon at SEC plus I can be at SEC in 12 Min's via Argyle Line

Flights bookable from NEMA to Glasgow for under £31 return....

Costs more than that for taxi fares to and from the airport! :-?

Very provisionally im planning on starting the journey Wednesday and arriving Thursday for the evening setup, staying all weekend. But very provision at this stage as the last two years Ive had to cry off at the last moment. So this year im not planning too far in advance.

Talk to dad, don't get your hopes up though we only have six badges and with three gone to us, plus doug there's only two left and i'm pretty sure they're normally gone to regulars such as doug - but doesn't hurt to ask :)

I'll be there one day again, might lend yous guys a hand demonstrating lol.

I will definately be there for one day minimum....but I'll see if I can try and get in for both days of the weekend. Complications as to this happenning are even more restricitve than last year.....but all I can do is try for now.

It'll be good to see many of the faces again which I saw earlier this year.

I'm booked in at the Cambuslang Travel Inn as I've decided to drive up rather than fly.

I'll be travelling up on the Thursday (it's a 5-6 hour haul! ), arriving in time to help with set-up at the SECC...and I'll be driving back on the Monday, as I don't fancy my chances of staying awake at the wheel on Sunday evening!
