The UKTS roadshow team do not decide what shows to go to........we only go to shows where we are invited to attend.

If there is a show where you feel it would be beneficial for the UKTS roadshow to attend, you will need to contact the organisers of the event and pursuade them that UKTS to be there and get them to invite UKTS to attend.

Direct them to http://www.uktrainsimlive.com/mannotes.asp

Hi Guys. Living near York I also thought it would be great to see the UKTS roadshow at the York Show so contacted the organiser Mike Cook several months ago to point him in our direction. Unfortunately he had no available space even then and also had a lengthy waiting list for any spaces becoming available. Maybe we should be trying to get in for next year already. Dave.

I'm going to York for the weekend, not sure what day we're going to the show though.

Dave - you will need to get Mike Cook to contact Pete Peddlesden (leviathan1949) to request ukts attendance, Pete wont make the approach it has to come from the exhibition organiser. Remember that the ukts team dont pay for stands, they are not a trade stand, they will expect to be paid expenses or have meals and refreshments supplied. See the notes for exhibition managers for full details.

May I point out to anyone reading this thread that the York show is on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - NOT FRIDAY. This was pointed out to Davvydo and I (who were both planning to go on Friday) in the railway modelling forum. 8)
