With three and a half weeks to go, I thought it was time to start the countdown for Brighton.

I've not been to the Brighton show before, so a new experience.....and I'll be there all three days.

And I hope Laurie will be well enough to come along....

Brighton is quite a different show to most as it's a model engineering exhibition - railways (inc live steam in large gauges), R/C planes, cars, tanks and ships etc plus all kinds of other stuff like people building 9Fs 5 feet long out of matchsticks...

They usually have a robotwars arena upstairs so if you fancy a break from MSTS and want a bit of fun you can go watch that.

Oh, and it's also a huge show.

and Daleks :) They were the best last year :)

Im really hoping to be well enough to attend all three days. Armed with painkillers I think i'll be ok. I am getting better (I think) by the day so hopefully another month should make a difference :)

I was going to go, but wont be coming now.

Got a mock major incident to go to instead. (A rail crash I suspect)

Oh dear... Sorry to miss you there Dave. Was looking forward to having a chat again. Never mind.

I'll be there for some of the Saturday afternoon. Day trip from Bristol doesn't leave much time if we want to be sure of getting back that evening!

I'll want to have a good look around again though so won't be spending as long as usual at the Roadshow.

Sorry mate but there is a train due to have a collision with a car on a crossing in Dorset that I need to be round the corner from.

Well as long as there's not a real emergency elsewhere (like on the train I'm on) you should be good. ;)
