Student license duration

GMax is now capable of making models for both Auran Trainz and Microsoft Train Simulator so you can see your work in both sims very quickly and easily now!

Student license duration

If I enroll as a student in an accredited university and install the free student version of 3dsMax, how long will I be able to use it. I am confused as the the elimination of perpetual licenses for 3dsmax. If it is installed on my computer, but am no longer enrolled as a student, can I still use it (maybe without technical support) or does it become non functional if my student license is no longer valid?

IIRC, a student license is good for two years from installation. Afterward, the program will cease to function, but you can apply for an updated student license with the version of Max that's available at that time.
