Re: Route not showing in RW Tools
Hi guys,
This might be the wrong thread to post this; but I have an issue with locos not showing in RW Tools.
I have just purchased a GWR 14xx and Autocoach from Steam; these packages are produced by Victory Works in a .ap format
I have used RW Tools to successfully UnZip them; however when I go into the asset editor to generate the rolling stock list - it cannot find any .bin rolling stock files (and there are .bin in the folder I'm searching).
The asset editor can detect the .xml files, which when I look in the edit scenario section it does show the vehicle path as utilising the .xml file.
How can I add these to the rolling stock list and get shown as such when I search in the edit scenario page?
All the best
Adam

I am not sure what you are seeing? There should be nothing listed as .xml in the Edit Assets screen as all rolling-stock files in the Assets folder should be .bin files, not .xml. As under:-

TS2015 reads the .bin files and converts them internally to .xml format on the fly, which is why .bin files refer internally to file paths with their .xml suffix.
In the RW_Tools scenario screen, if you click on an item in the Selected Consist list, it will display the path with an .xml suffix as this path is taken from within the Scenarios.bin file for the route being edited, so is the internal path name.
