One of the main things I use RW Tools for is to clone a scenario and then change the player loco to something else.
But 3 of my routes have disappeared in to*.ap files. H2H, M2A & L2F.
So is this something I can still do on these route and how, please.

Peter,
The first thing you need to do is extract the files from the relevant .ap files into the old folder structure. Then you can clone and edit the scenario.

Re: Swaping Locos in Scenarios
As Peter says, you have to unpack the .ap files which ALL of the new routes and assets will probably be using in future.
The latest version of RW_Tools v5.0.18 has an option in the Files menu to search for these .ap files and to unpack them. At which point RW_Tools operates as it always has done.

Re: Swaping Locos in Scenarios
Thanks Mike. I will give it a go.
EDIT.
I'm doing something wrong.
Files > Open AP file manager
I navigated to the KentHighSpeed Folder and found LondonFavAssets.ap and opened that.
I closed that part and attempted to Scenarios > Edit Scenarios and got a pop-up
====================================================================================
Unexpected Error in RW_Tools V5.0.0018 | October 13, 2013 at 03:36:04 PM
Error: 9
Description: Subscript out of range
Procedure: Form_Load
Module: frmShowRoutes
====================================================================================
I clicked on it numerous times and it went away.
When it did open the Scenarios > Edit Scenarios London to Faversham route is not there.

Re: Swaping Locos in Scenarios
Try the following
1. Go to Files\Find all .ap files
2. This brings up a list of all the .ap files on your system
3. The ones you need are
E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\RSC\KentHighSpeed\LondonFavAssets.ap
E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\00000034-c000-0000-0000-000000002013\L2FClass466EMUScenarios.ap
E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\00000034-c000-0000-0000-000000002013\MainContent.ap
Not sure if you have the scenarios pack.
4. Ctrl-click these 3 to highlight them and click Unpack with 7zip
5. As you have previously unpacked some of these, select the option 'Unpack .ap overwriting all destination files if they exist' and click OK
Your .ap files should then all be correctly unpacked and will work fine and can be read with RW_Tools

Re: Swaping Locos in Scenarios
As per my other post on here, make sure you go to Options/Make all RW files read/write or you won't be able to see files from within the .ap files.
