Problem creating scenarios for West Coast Mainline South

Post by sn5775 »

Hi all,

I'm having a problem trying to create scenarios for the West Coast Mainline South route by crowman (Paul Jelley).

I am trying to start the scenario from Platform 2 at Rugby but loading passengers does not progress the task list in the scenario, that is, the game does not recognise that I have loaded passengers and displays the next instruction.

I have noticed that the scenario only continues if I reverse the train towards London and drive over a specific piece of track and then continue the scenario forwards.

In the map view I have noticed that there are two labels the same - "Rugby Platform 2".

The first label is actually on the platform and the second label is on a piece of track to the south of the station, which I have to drive over in order to continue the scenario.

Not sure if this is causing the problem. If so, is it possible for me to fix?

Many thanks.

That is indeed the cause. With two markers of the same name, the software doesn't know which to choose.

If you are only building the scenario for your own use, just go into the route editor and delete the unwanted one (or rename it - in both boxes).
