Hello
I am setting up QuickDrive for a little route I built and I've come across a complexity that I'm not so sure about getting round.
The line has two stations and is single track. I want to be able to start outside station 1, stop at station 1, go to station 2, reverse and then go back to station 1 and have the QuickDrive finish there. Unfortunately, having set it up normally, I get to station 1 the first time and the scenario finishes.
Is it at all possible to do?
Thanks!
Xavier.

Re: Need Help With A Complex QuickDrive Setup
Hello.
That you propose is not possible in Quick Drive.
In Quick Drive is only possible go from A to B, nothing more.
But go from A to B, then go from B to C, and then return from C to B is not possible in Quick Drive. To do this it is best to create a standard scenario.
The essence of Quick Drive lies in simplicity.
The only complexity that we can be added to Quick Drive is to place static consists and AI traffic.

Re: Need Help With A Complex QuickDrive Setup
If Station 1 has more than 1 platform it should be possible; you would need to set up Platform 1 and Platform 2 at Station 1 as individual, selectable destinations, with Platform 1 marked as "Always Go Via". This should force the scenario to route you S1P1 > S2 > S1P2 (I think; I must confess I'm not sure how Quick Drive handles reversing manouevres).
If Station 1 has only 1 platform then I believe Juanillo is correct

I see, yes station 1 has only one platform so Yes it seems not to be possible.
Re: Need Help With A Complex QuickDrive Setup
Ah now then it is actually quiet possible.
add a tiny destination marker "Z" at the most obscure end of the platform road at Station B in the route editor. Set the QD scenario to start at A and terminate at Destination marker Z. Now because Z is never reached by the loco the scenario remains always open so you can hop about to your hearts content.
I have such markers in all the goods yards so I can "destin" the goods traffic to point Z but actually use my manual points to have a jolly good shunt about without the fear of accidently tripping the "WELL DONE YOU HAVE FINISHED" happy message of death.

Re: Need Help With A Complex QuickDrive Setup
Don't know if the following would work, but on the Edinburgh-Dundee route, I've noticed HST stopping markers on the platforms, and on the route map underneath the controls, it does show (station) HST. So I'm guessing you could split your platform at station A into (say) A P1 down and A P1 up. So from the start of your scenario, you could have destinations A P1 down, B, A P1 up.
