Seems it was the capitalisation it didn't like. I had a folder called "En". When I changed that to "en" everything started working.
Although the sound is bloody quiet.

Well I renamed my test wav file to message1.wav in order to have the exact same call as you and it still works. I play the sound from an engine script though, and my train simulator language is configured to use the english language.chrisell wrote:I've tried that - I tried ogg, ogv, wav, dav and mp3
I think it's the format of the command that I don't have right - what did you do to get it to work ?
I've tried this:
SysCall ( "ScenarioManager:PlayDialogueSound","message1.wav");
with "message1.wav" in the "En" folder of the scenario but I still don't get anything.

I got it to work in the end. This is for a scenario. Although the sound is really quiet.
