Following an idea, I have made a new livery for four class 379 EMU's! It designed to be very British and retro! Secondly London Western, will gain two of 8 and then Greater Western will gain class 172's and the rest of the them.

Hi all.
We I haven't given an update for a while so here is one.
To start the HST project has been having a revamp. I have now put the TRFB as one model as before it was using the Intercity model but FGW reskin - therefore meaning that there was a texture problem. It is now completely using the modern FGW model as a template(if you get my gist).
I have also made a start on the local line fleet.
Currently reskined (body wise) - reskin only
Class 156(two on loan from Northern) - about 25% finished
Class 158(entire fleet getting the local line express livery) - 100% finished
Class 165/6 - 25%
Class 170(to free up class 158s) - 100% finished

Reskined(interior)
Class 156 - 100%
Class 158 - 100%
Class 165/6 - 100%

I know the class 150/2 doesn't have a passenger view, so I will be looking at trying to make one - via help from the class 156!

I have also done some work on the HST interior - it looks more like Wrexham and Shropshire First Class now(sort of how I want it) My only wish is that we had the interior view like on FGW current First Class(meaning the gun/black seats would look better! (if the company was real the HST's would also gain P.I.S)

The Class 158 is pretty much ready to leave the yard, so to speak. If anyone wishes to test her or get first dips at the reskin. let me know!

Hi again.
I have been working up some names for HST power cars, here is some of the few I have done so far:
43030 - Royal Wootton Bassett
43063 - Spirit of Adventure
43143 - St Philip Marsh, Bristol

I will be making a list which will be available on the website of all the named power cars, So here is your chance to name a HST powercar for Railworks.
I have decided to let the people who give me ideas and guidance a little gesture. I will only be creating TWO requested named powercars,
I will only be adding the best names(probably through a vote or something) So if you want to have a name added to a TS2014 HST power car, then let me know.
You can PM me, or contact me via the website http://www.greaterwestern.webs.com
If you have a specific Power Car please include the number as demonstrated above.
I will be finalising the names in TWO weeks, and will be creating the names soon after.

Hi there,

Just out of interest, what is the main purpose of this? Is it purely for your entertainment, or is this something broadly for the community?

Thanks, Rob

Both pretty much, something for me, but it will be released to the community! Hope that solved your "interest"
Kind regards

A new "premium" brand has been placed on two Class 170's they will operate the Swindon to Gloucester via Kemble route, until October at least!
