Hello!
As some of you may know, I am planning to model the Guildford to Horsham Branchline at each stage of its existance from 1865 - 1965. I would like my stations to feature passengers at each of these stages, but at present I am lost as to where to find passengers for earlier periods as the dress was very different to that from about 1925 (or so!) onwards. I can probably (Just!) get away with 1950's passengers from the 1930's, but anything earlier and I have problems, even though I have yet to learn how to lay platforms or add passengers!
Anyway, if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated
All the best,
Victorian/Edwardian Passengers for TS2017

Hi,
The only place I think you might get Victorian figures is the recently released DTG American Route, set in the 1800's otherwise I think you will be stuck for Victorian\Edwardian era figures.
Mike

Thanks Michael!
You wouldn't know what the US route is called... I just hope it's cheap beacause I'm not especially keen on US routes.

Re: Victorian/Edwardian Passengers for TS2017
Hi Alastair,
No, not yet! I still need to buy the American route, but I can't really justify it as I would only use it for the passengers.
I notice Digital Traction's Lyme Regis branch is intended to be set in the 1920's/early 1930's, so some figures from that might be useful, especially workmen and the like as their dress seemed to change little up until the introduction of High-Vis clothing. I think for Edwardian and earlier figures we're stuffed, which is a shame really. The Isle of Man in that period would be lovely. Thanks for commenting, as I had not realised someone was doing it until now! Are you doing those lovely Beyer Peacock (?) 2-4-0T's too? They're just beautiful little locos.
All the best, and best of luck!
