Tides

Post by speedypete202 »

Hi,

Quick question,

Is it possible to simulate tides in TS? i.e. changeable water level and direction depending on the time of day?

67 'views' and no reply from King Canute yet suggests not.

We have waves, but not changing water levels.
It might be possible at scenario level though to raise/lower the water assets---worth a trial I guess!!

A couple of years ago, I made a scenario for my extension of WCMLoS to Windermere that had a flood in the river valleys from Kendal to Windermere (it was published on the Workshop). I placed a series of water decals along the route, and raised them to suitable levels (covering roads and almost reaching the track ballast). All the scenery tiles affected had the additions stored in the scenario folder, and downloaded into the scenario when starting. Not at my PC at the moment, so cannot give a reference to the scenario, but it is on the Workshop under my "name"
