Meshtools 2F works quite well round the docks, small wheel base and tight corners suit it quite well. I'm also looking forward to there electric shunter, that will be fun tootling around the quaysides

I don't remember seeing a freeware model of a cement works Rob, not recently anyway, there may be something on the American website I can have a look tomorrow. It depends on what Payware routes you have, there is the Stromeferry Cement Silo and Works on the Scottish Kyle of Lochalsh route by Just Trains. There is a cement works on the Bedford to St. Pancras route and one on the Faversham High Speed layout, it might be the same model now I come to think about it, have a look at the Cement Works just beyond St. Pancras Station on Faversham, it all depends on what you actually want, of course, there isn't much on offer, and what there is might not fit in with the period you're building this route for. I can't think of anything else at present, time for bed and recharge the old batteries.......
Cheerz. Steve.

Worst case scenario I can bodge something together that looks kind of like a cement works, I'm not going for 110% real, but my problem is I dont know what a 50's plant looked like and what the layout was, that is what I'm after.

Hi
I used to live in Hull - I recall passing the Earle's Cement Works at Wilmington on the bank of the River Hull when travelling as a kid on the train to Hornsea - hope this link may inspire you!
