Help needed with Asset search
I have been constructing a new Route for the past 18 months, and it should be ready for publishing by the end of May (on UKTS). I am in the process of compiling the list of Assets required, but am having some problems. Though I have the undernoted assets in my folders, I do not have the original download locations. Some of them seem to have disappeared from the UKTS lists (where most of the FW assets in my build originated). Some of the scenery items that are non essential have been removed or replaced, but others do add specifically to the route, so I need to be able to give a location. I would appreciate any info that readers may have.
regards
Nick
Wilburton\Stockton I believe was in a Route download. I have the UKTS IDs as 19941, 19959, 21802, 23236, 23422, 23423, 24134, 24258, 28981, but they are no longer in the library. I have the name Kevin McGowan associated with this.
I can find all of Buckeye's splendid L&Y track, and am using 2 types in one of the Loco MPDs, but can no longer find the inspection pit - Buckeye\Lanky\RailNetwork\Track\Lanky_022pit.bin
Michael Whiteley is a well respected name in the RW world, but his items are now difficult to find. Was he associated with Meshtools? Looking for MichaelWhiteley\Brick Bridge\, MichaelWhiteley\LMS3F\, and MichaelWhiteley\Trams\Scenery. The last is particularly important as the buildings are iconic to the route.
regards

Some, but not all of Wilburton's assets are here: http://www.kevinmcgowan.org/Railsimulator/
You can find his other assets on sites such as this: http://forum.treinpunt.nl/index.php?PHP ... ds;cat=685
There are others.....................

Hi Nick
There is a MichaelWhiteley\Trams\Scenery\Buildings folder supplied as part of the UKTS Freeware Candlewick Route.

The only scenery it contains are Tram Poles though - is that what you need?

No, the tram poles can be found separately in UKTS 20755. It is the Blackpool buildings that I seek.alpend wrote:Hi Nick

Hi Nick
Michael Whiteley (Meshtools) is a contributor to the Freeware packs - there are a set of hotel buildings in the MW sub-folder of the UKTS Commercial buildings pack, could they be what you are after? It would explain why the assets are no longer available in the standard library.

Thanks, I have a note of those. It is the ones that are specific to Blackpool. Viz:alpend wrote:Hi Nick

Re: Help needed with Asset search
Aha all is now clear
The file in question was the Blackpool Tramway route UKTS_26957. It was unfortunately withdrawn by its author back in April 2013. But - do not dispair! A reworked version of the route that includes the files you are using is available from trainsim.com http://www.trainsim.com/vbts/tslib.php?searchid=4810000 (Painfully slow download though).
Hope that helps

Re: Help needed with Asset search
Hi Al
Many thanks. Yes, I tried to download and it timed out. I have the assets already (from UKTS) but subscribers to the route will need them. I will try to contact Mike Trams to see if he is happy for me to include these assets in my upload.
