Danny's Various routes

Just thought that I would keep a post on here to list all the routes that I have made in the past and for the future ones too. (only ones that I've worked on in my own time are mentioned though :) ), and also use this to post updates on the WIP Routes as well. Although I apologise for the links in the post for screenshots.

Released Routes -

East Kent Branch Line V1.0 and V1.1 - Not Avaliable any more (at least i think they aren't - but personally I would ignore them as they are fairly bad)

South Downs Lines V1.2 -

Can be found here - http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=29485
or here (non premium) - http://www.gamefront.com/files/22052750 ... t_Pack_zip (a download page)
(list of what is in that file - http://alienworlds.co.uk/blog/2013/02/2 ... ject-pack/ )

Workshop Routes - Complete (released)

South London to Brighton

Includes - South London Network and London to Brighton route combined as well as Hove and Reigate stations (with scenery). As well as a few improvements over the original London - Brighton Sections.

Hove Station Pictures - http://alienworlds.co.uk/blog/2014/11/2 ... n-updates/

Can be found here - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =341200017

Munich to Garmisch and Augsburg

Includes the combined Munich to Garmisch and Munich to Augsburg routes (with some improvements to the latter section of the route) Mostly minor things.

Can be found here - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =363510414

Future Routes - WIP

South London and Thameslink (Currently WIP)

Merges South London to Brighton to London to Bedford basically, and will include Moorgate as well as Beckenham Junction. Currently working on track and scenery around the join area as well as Beckenham Junction too (seems like a good end point for the route).

Map of route here - http://alienworlds.co.uk/blog/wp-conten ... inkMap.png

South Downs Lines - Extended (Currently WIP)

Basically this route is a fictional 3rd rail Network Southeast Route set in the 1990s to 2000s, its the latest version of the original East Kent Branch Line that i've extended and updated (some parts rebuilt from Scratch), and have also made it completely stand alone as well, however there is still a lot of scenery to be done on this route. When its done i'm not sure how it will be released at the moment (but a long way away)

Example of Updates to the route - http://alienworlds.co.uk/blog/2015/01/09/330/
Route Map (will update this to a better one later) - http://alienworlds.co.uk/blog/wp-conten ... MapSDL.jpg

South London, Thameslink and Kent (in the future)

This one is in the future after South London and Thameslink is complete. Basically it will be a merge of London - Brighton, South London Network, London - Faversham and London to Bedford, as well as the Sheerness on Sea branch too (it would be a pain to not include the latter!) . This one requires about 30 miles of scenery which is the reason why I've left out the Kent bit on the South London and Thameslink route above.

Thank you :), while i can't really post any updates on track (mostly properties and signals) I can post this up (for the South London and Thameslink route), using the reskin blueprint (so i've only retextured them :) )

Note - (Tram signs due to the stations being parallel to the main line between Crystal Palace and Beckenham Junction )

How much of the tram system is included on this WiP would it be possible to lay the full croydon route with a freeware tram being available :)

Unfortunately most likely as far as just around the corner from where the birkbeck line splits from it. (I would add it but don't want to give myself too much work unfortunately - I still have to do the scenery for the other lines too :), and not sure the game would cope with another line close to all the others with the scenery.

Hi Danny,

I like your merged Augsberg Munich and Munich Garmisch routes, any chance of adding the extra few mile down to Mittenwald,it is the last station in Germany on the Kharwendalbahn Route.

Thanks although probably won't be able to as I'm currently focused on the South London and Thameslink route (which is taking a lot of my free time), as well as the South Downs Lines too, so I don't think i'd have much chance to add much to that route, really sorry. (its not that I don't want too :) , I am doing this in my own time and I only have so much I can do :), but don't get me wrong though it sounds like a good little addon )

Well done, I only brought the midland main line because you were joining the routes, I bet there's a few more that did the same !.

Danny, this work is amazing. You have made South London Network infinitely more valuable, and If I do buy MML it will only be because you have joined it to L to B. IMO the sim has been crying out for this kind of route joining for a long time. It is very pleasing to see someone dedicating so much time to this, but you shouldn't have to do this in your own time, this is clearly adding value to the existing products!

Thank you for your efforts

Thanks :), although I actually chose to do this in my own time because I want to do it :) (not because I have to :) )

I understand, it's nice to be able to express yourself without anyone else telling you what you can and can't do :)

Really looking forward to the full Brighton - Bedford merge but just one query. Your map doesn't show the line through Elephant and Castle. Any plans to include that bit, seems an odd omission.

Not straight away, i wanted to focus on the main part first. (although the first version upload will only have track on that section - the scenery will come a bit later on, only doing this so at least people can see the track). I probably will add that section in later on (mainly due to London Bridge being out of position making it harder to place the track between the two points :) )

(since i can't edit the above post!)

South London and Thameslink (Work In Progress!) now on steam workshop.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =395528858

Notes - This upload was to put a version on Steam workshop for scenario writers at least but its not finished as of yet (I am working on it :) )

* Scenery between London Bridge and Kings Cross Thameslink is not Complete
* I need to go over Terrain Textures between Bedford and Harlington (seem to be the worst affected by changing to South London Lines Textures)
* Also Beckenham Junction area scenery not complete.
* Quick Drive isn't complete (please give me time for this one :) - for me this one can be fairly stressful! )

Finished Scenery release date - When its done ;) (I can't give a date, and it would put pressure on myself as well!)
