Change Manual to Automatic Points/Switches?

I am trying to create scenarios for the superb freeware route WCML London to Birmingham. Unfortunately, because all of the points in the route are manual, the scenarios fail with either "Player Left Path" or "AI Train Left Path" messages and, due to the length and complexity of this outstanding route, it is proving very laborious and time consuming to go right along the path and switch the points in the scenario manually.

Is there any way of editing the route or the scenario to ensure all points are changed automatically please?
