Re: Norfolk Lines
I've got to say it...
This is the most realistic looking route I've seen. It just looks the part. Totally.

Re: Norfolk Lines
Your attention to detail is mind blowing, well done young man. I'm hugely impressed with the litter on the lines in the Stations, all you need are a couple of fag ends and it'd be 100% perfect.
Is that litter from the scenery items that we get from the London-Gatwick route, or, is it something you've created yourself, please?
Cheerz. Transport Steve.

Re: Norfolk Lines
It's kind of sad, but I've enjoyed following the progress of this route for the past year and a bit, and Im certainly glad I did as it's looking even better than I imagined.
It makes most if not all of DTG's routes look mediocre!
I do hope you plan to release this Fakenham. Very big well done on this.

Thanks again all - very kind comments.
Steve, the rubbish is a reskinned loft with bits of rubbish pasted in. I've made quite a few of these for a bit of variety.
Another vid, this time from Brundall to Cantley...some of the tracks have a bit more oil/grease in parts as per ElectricFox's suggestion.

Re: Norfolk Lines
Thanks for the videos of your work, only just seen them all! Absolutely astounding, this is the finest route building I have ever seen
Fantastic attention to detail, a truly huge amount of work has gone into this project and it shows, awesome is an over used word but not in this case.

The 'devil' is in the detail the little things that are just waiting to be seen - maybe not the during early runs but the kind of touches and realism tht will get noticed and maintain interest - something that you Mark, know all about too!
Re: Norfolk Lines
Dear Fakenham 1
Seeing your videos has made me incredibly excited for your Norfolk Lines. The attention to detail is just mind blowing. You clearly deserve a pat on the back for this kind of work. Will there be any beta testing because I would be more than happy to offer myself for beta testing. Please don't be offended by how impatient I am, I understand I know from personal experience the sheer amount of effort needed to build a route at this sheer effort. Any ideas on the release date (roughly)?
Thanks so Much

Re: Norfolk Lines
It's all been said by others already, but this route is utterly outstanding and easily the best I have seen for this sim - the attention to detail is absolutely staggering. What an incredible achievement - I am really looking forward to its release - congratulations.
Re: Norfolk Lines
Everything already said. Let's hope we'll have a nice Xmas gift

Re: Norfolk Lines
Hello, very nice building route, would like to know what kind of 3D trees are used on the route, some would be useful to me. I know even some of their objects on screen, such as the trees of the game "The Light." (derevo 1 ... derevo 7), which I converted to the game TS. And also some 2d trees too much, look like real. I apologize for my English, I use the translator google, I myself Russian.

Re: Norfolk Lines
Welcome to the forum, radiomaster.
I have found some useful trees and other vegetation in files I downloaded from http://modely-msts.cz/objektyrw.html.

Re: Norfolk Lines
Thanks very much guys for all of your comments...
For those who are interested, I'm occasionally putting up small snippets of videos on my Youtube channel.... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfi0vA ... uciJmjioeQ
As for a release date, shouldn't be too long...just got the finishing touches from Berney Arms to Yarmouth to complete, then to go over the whole route and update certain aspects. Then it's the mammoth task of getting a list of required assets, plus permissions from various authors to include reskins of their assets...fingers crossed on this one.
Radiomaster, the trees are a mixture of West Highland Line 3d trees, plus a few trees which were used in the recently released Czech route....and yes, I've used some of your excellent derevo trees! Most of the 2d trees come from the Czech route, and are prefixed with CZ in the editor (I think). These are excellent, and have amazing colours in the Autumn season.
