Blimey those shots are superb , that view looking down the heartlands road towards the yard entrance at "Wash yer feet" is bang on 8)
When the yard was open we'd hurtle down that road in a taxi with the rest of the traffic and the taxi drivers literally had to handbrake turn into the yard access road before someone behind rear ended into you !
The entrance being 90 degrees to the road with no separate entrance/exit lane :o

Wow this route looks stunning. each picture is easily recognised, you have some route building skill there, I attempted the Birmingham new street to Coventry 3 times, neither attempt looked half as good as this, I cannot wait to drive this route. looking forward to more pictures :D:D

Cheers guys, many thanks for your kind words.

Progress is still slow due to other commitments, but getting bits done here and there. Here are a couple from the entrance to the old met-cam works - the first shot looking from the entrance towards the main lines, with the electrified line to Stechford seen in the background..

And lastly a shot looking from the road which crosses the line into the works..

Just WOW! This is beautiful, really nice work.

Echoing earlier sentiments on here, the quality is fantastic - definitely payware in my opinion. I can't wait for the release :)

Thanks guys - re the screenshots, most of it is due to the excellent sim lighting effects, angle of shot, superb assets etc etc all adding up to give a decent shot.
Class1987, I have no idea about creating assets, all I can do is reskin. New Street is just made up of various bits and pieces at the moment.
I've been pottering away at reskinning more stuff such as roads, lanes etc - trying to get more variety into the route. Here's a shot of the Saltley area again, with a new reskinned track access lane inserted(no idea what the technical name for it is!). Here you can also see a representation of the Washwood Heath Siding No 1 shunting frame (not completely sure if it's still present?).

Regarding variety, can't wait to get hold of the new Thompson/KRoss route, mainly for the route itself, but also for what looks to be an excellent range of new tree/vegetation assets. I'm sure this route will set a new benchmark.

Thanks Lewis. Regarding DLC, unfortunately a lot, all UK stuff though. I'll get a list out when I'm nearing the first release.
Cheers

Just seen an interesting bit of info on Trainsimdev.com regarding signals for the sim. Never realised how good/realistic the new JustTrains signals are, looking at the Youtube tutorial videos posted on trainsimdev. It seems you can do a whole lot more with this set, such as proper yard entry with subsid signals (and stencil indicators) that don't need to be tabbed past to work. There also seems to be whole host of extra bits and bobs with that set that you don't get with the UKpro set. I may try and resignal my route with this lot when their new Newcastle to Edi route surfaces ( I don't have Marsdonshire).
