For route maps and profiles I think you need a NESA account, which could prove difficult to get
On the same page as that info I did find the regional guides
http://www.networkrail.co.uk/aspx/10563.aspx
A mass of information but nothing about profiles

Hi Bob,

Just wondering if this upgrade is still ongoing.

I'm very much looking forward to a scenic upgrade of the S&D and im sure this will be tremendous, and a welcome addition.

kind regards.

Don't forget Carintia's modified S & D too. That's at http://carinthia.sftt.co.uk/routes-bt.php

I too was drawn to Railworks by the temptations of the Somerset & Dorset line.

Hi

Sorry for the delay in replying.

I'm beavering away all the time, John  , but get very limited time to work on my own stuff. Hence why this route, along with a couple of others, has basically stalled.

When I saw the thread had received a reply I immediately thought of mentioning Carinthia's route, so thanks for the timely reply. I'm sure it will be far more lovingly modelled than mine ever would have been; all I was doing was lobbing a few extra default assets at it, sometimes in slightly different places to the original. :) And, of course, you can drive his version straight away. :D

Cheers

Thanks for the plug!

Our targets are quite different in that my version is more for enhanced operational features (accurate signalling, corrected track layouts etc) whereas yours will, I understand, feature mostly scenic improvements. Its a shame the two potentially complimentary factors won't be possible to combine, but I think that will be a technical impossibility. I'm sure your version, when available, will be a gem.

You can combine them, if your working on the track, then all you would need to do is send bob your Networks/Track Tires & Track.bin files, and your trackwork will be in Bobs route. Or vice versa.

A combined effort would be very welcome but It could not be released as a Workshop route as Carinthia's version includes non-DLC signalling.
